Race report by Pierre Delorme
The track of Ampuis hosted last weekend the third round of French Nats with 77 entries. The track is open with a long straight line, in stock class the motor setup was very important!
Practices started Saturday morning with 6 round and the last two which count for the reseeding. I managed to top seed the stock class with a super-fast car in corner and awesome power thanks to Trinity motor/battery.

Three qualifications followed and the track conditions was complicated as the air and the track were very hot : 28°C-55°C. I managed to TQ the three rounds even on Q2 with the tightest race I've ever done with Alexandre Duchet where I took the win by 0.05sec. I made a risked tire strategy as I used my two sets of tires to make the fastest TQ in the third round because the weather was announced to be rainy Sunday.

As expected the rain was here Sunday morning with many water on the track. As I had a faster TQ I used the last two qualis to setup my car on wet conditions.

In Formel class Jeremy Limoges (XRAY) also made the three TQ Saturday and keep the pole position as Nicolas Cardoso (XRAY) in 13.5 TC. In modified Thomas Vigneron made two TQ on wet condition and start on the first spot on the grid in front of Alexandre Laurent (XRAY).

For the first two finals on the wet track I could manage to have a good gap just after the start and keep it until the end by making clean run. My brother who started 7th on the grid due to some mistakes in qualifications had like me a perfect car and was able to pass all drivers and came 2nd behind me in the first two finals!

The last final was on a drying track and it was a complicated tire choice for the nine guys remaining in the main, my brother chose to run the Volante tires and it was the good choice, he won the main in front of Alexandre Duchet after a tight final!

In modified Alex Laurent (XRAY) managed to win the first two finals like Willy Voisangrin (XRAY) in Formel Class.
